நம் கன்மலையும் பங்குமாயிருக்கிற தேவன் /God is our rock and our portion

73-ம்   சங்கீதத்தை எழுதியவர் ஆசாப்.  பாடகரான இவர் துன்மார்க்கர் வாழ்ந்து செழித்திருப்பதைப் பார்த்து மனமடிவாகிறார்.  அவர்கள் செழித்து வாழ கர்த்தர் அனுமதித்திருக்கிறார் என்ற எண்ணம் அவனுள் வந்ததினால் மகிழ்ச்சியற்றவராக மாறினார்.  ஆனால் தேவனுடைய சந்நிதிக்குள் பிரவேசித்த போது ஆசாபின் எண்ணங்கள் மாறியது. 

தன் மாம்சமும் இருதயமும் மாண்டு போனாலும் தேவன் தன் கன்மலையும், பங்குமாய் இருப்பதை தெரிந்து கொண்டார். அதை அறிக்கையும் இடுகிறார்.  தேவன் நம்முடைய வாழ்வில் மகிழ்ச்சியின் ஆதாரமாய் இருக்கும் போதுதான் அவரைக் கன்மலையாகவும் நம் பங்காகவும் கொள்ள முடியும்.

தன் வாழ்வில் யோபு எல்லாவற்றையும் இழந்த போது கூட  "என் மீட்பர் உயிரோடிருக்கிறார்" என்று கூறினார்.  என் தோல் முதலானவை அழுகிப்போனாலும் என்  மாம்சத்தில் இருந்து தேவனைப் பார்பேன் என்று தைரியமாகக் கூறினார்.(யோபு:19:25,26).

ஆபிரகாம் தேவனைத் தன் பகுதியாகக் கருதினார்.  சிறைபிடிக்கப்பட்ட சோதோமின் மக்களை ஆபிரகாம் மீட்க உதவின போது சோதோமின் ராஜா கொடுத்த வெகுமதிகளை ஏற்க ஆபிரகாம் மறுத்துவிட்டான். தன்னுடன் வந்த புருஷருடைய பங்கு மாத்திரம் வரவேண்டும் என்றுக் கூறிவிட்டான்.  தன்னுடைய பங்கு உன்னதமான தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் என்று  தன் கையை உயர்த்தினான் . 

நாம் சரீர பிரகாரமாக மாண்டு  போகக் கூடிய சூழ்நிலை வந்தாலும் தேவனை நம் கன்மலையாகவும், பங்காகவும் கொள்வோம். எல்லா விதத்திலும் தோல்வியடைந்து, சோர்வடைந்து, உதவியற்றவர்களாக, நம்பிக்கை இழந்து காணப்பட்டாலும் கர்த்தர் உங்கள் கன்மலையாக இருக்கிறார் என்பதை நினைவில் கொள்ளுங்கள். 

Psalm 73 was written by Asaph. The singer is heartbroken to see the wicked living and prospering. He became unhappy because the thought came to him that the Lord had allowed them to prosper. But Asaph's thoughts changed when he entered the presence of God.

Even though his flesh and heart were destroyed, he knew that God was his rock and share. Only when God is the source of happiness in our lives can we take Him as the rock and our share.

Even when Job lost everything in his life he said, "My Savior is alive." He boldly said that he would see God from my flesh, even though my skin was rotten (Job 19: 25,26).

Abraham considered God as his part. Abraham refused to accept the rewards given by the king of Sodom when he helped the people of Sodom to bring them back from captivity. He said that only the portion of the man who came with him should come. He raised his hand and showed that his share was the Lord God Almighty.

We will take God as our rock and portion, even when we are in a situation where we can physically perish. Remember that the Lord is your rock, even though you are found to be failing, tired, helpless, and hopeless in every way.
