என் மகனே, பாவிகள் உனக்கு நயங்காட்டினாலும் நீ சம்மதியாதே.
இந்த வசனத்தில் சாலமோன் என் மகனே என்று குறித்த தொடங்குகிறார். கெட்ட சகவாசத்தினால் வரும் ஆபத்தைக் குறித்து எச்சரிக்கிறார். சிலர் செய்யும் செயல்கள் அவர்கள் பாவிகள் என்பதை நமக்கு காட்டிக் கொடுத்து விடும்.
அப்படிப்பட்டவர்கள் அவர்கள் செய்யும் பாவச்செயல்களில் நம்மையும் பங்கெடுக்க சொல்லி ஆசை வார்த்தைகளை பேசுவார்கள். நயம் காட்டுவார்கள் நம்மைக் கவர்ந்திழுப்பார்கள். ஆனால் இவை எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் நாம் சம்மதிக்கக் கூடாது.
நாம் நண்பர்களைத் தேர்ந்தெடுப்பதில் கவனமாகவும், புத்திசாலியாகவும் இருக்க வேண்டும்.
நம் சுயம் அப்பாவச் செயல்களுக்கு உட்படாவிட்டால் அவைகள் நம்மை ஒன்றும் செய்ய முடியாது.

தீர்மானங்கள் எடுப்பதில் மிகவும் கவனமாக இருக்க வேண்டும். எல்லோரும் செய்கிறார்கள்,
என் நண்பர்களுக்கு கம்பெனி
கொடுக்கிறேன் என்ற பெயரில் எந்த பாவத்திற்கும் துணை போய்விடாதீர்கள். சாத்தான்
உங்களை அதற்குள் விழத்தள்ளிவிடுவான். எனவே கவனம் தேவை.
Proverbs : 1: 10
My Son, If Sinners Entice You, Do Not Give In To Them.
In this verse Solomon begins by mentioning as my son. He warns his son of the danger posed by bad association. The actions of some people will show us that they are sinners and they are in a bad company.
Such people will speak words of desire telling us to share in the sins they commit. They will entice you. But we must not agree to all of this.
We need to be careful and smart in choosing friends. Their sinful habits will not affect us if we do not subject ourselves to their desires and sins.
We must be very careful in making decisions. Do not go along with any sin in the name of giving company to my friends.
Satan will lure you into it. So be careful when you are in the company of your friends.
